About the Journal

The IJICL is  a biannual peer reviewed journal of the College of Law of Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University. It aims to provide a platform for advancing legal scholarship on all areas of law, while also addressing contemporary challenges. This open access journal aims to enhance readers’ understanding of critical national and international legal issues in order to generate scholarly debate and influence policy decisions. Publishing in both Arabic and English, the journal follows a multidisciplinary approach, including high quality and insightful scholarship and commentary from legal professionals, academics, students, and judges. 

The Journal accepts submissions in all areas of law, including but not limited to constitutional law, administrative law, international law, comparative law, commercial law, criminal law, human rights law, Islamic law, and emerging areas at the intersection of law and technology. We are particularly interested in scholarship that addresses legal developments in the Gulf region, the Middle East, and Asia, while maintaining relevance to global legal discourse.

All articles undergo rigorous double-blind peer review by experts in the relevant field. The Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly integrity and editorial independence. As an open access publication, all content is freely available to readers worldwide immediately upon publication.*Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
